Specialised equipment is required to properly clean masonry & remove paint without damaging the masonry below. Sandblasting & other similar methods are well known to be damaging to the fabric of the building.

We have our own in house DOFF III and have access to other models & methods, so we can choose what's most suitable for your project.
Paint removal

The DOFF & Thermatech effectively remove biological matter, soot & carbon staining.
Graffiti removal
Unsightly and illegal graffiti can be removed safely without damaging the masonry.

The process requires an understanding of the substrate (masonry) & an understanding of what paint has been used & how to effectively break it down with or without the use of paint softeners.
The careful control of pressure and heat allows the masonry to be cleaned without damaging it. Sand blasting, pressure washing, & even hand cleaning can often damage the historic masonry.
